Award-Winning Small Group Training · Tullamarine · Since 2016
Real training for real people with real lives. No judgment, no pressure — just a community that genuinely has your back.
Work got busy. The kids came along. And somewhere in the middle of it all, your health slipped quietly to the bottom of the list. Now you want it back — but you're not sure where to start, or whether you'll actually stick with it this time.
Maybe you've had a go before and it didn't land. Maybe there's an injury that's been holding you back. Maybe you're nervous about walking into a room full of people who look like they've always known what they're doing.
The problem isn't you — it's that most gyms aren't built for real people with real lives. This one is.
Not here to make you feel like you're failing. Here to make you feel like you're winning.
AB Health & Fitness started in 2016 with a few classes in a borrowed space in Tullamarine. The people who came along were mostly new to fitness — nervous, unsure, and a long way from thinking of themselves as "gym people."
What kept them coming back wasn't the workouts. It was the encouragement. The connection. The feeling that they'd found somewhere they actually belonged.
That hasn't changed. Ten years in, we're a 6× award-winning small group training gym in Melbourne's north — and the best thing about us is still the same: people walk in wondering if they fit, and they walk out knowing they do.
One of our long-standing members once described coming to the gym as her social life — said plainly, without self-pity. That's the reality of what this place is for a lot of people, and it's worth never forgetting.
Come and try it — as many classes as you like for a full week. No commitment at the end, no pitch, no hard sell. Show up, train, meet the community. If it's the right fit, brilliant. If not, no hard feelings.

I've tried so many gyms and never felt like I belonged. Here I walked in not knowing anyone and within two weeks I had a crew. I actually look forward to 6am now — never thought I'd say that.
The trainers actually know who you are. Not just your name — they know what you've been working on, where you're struggling, what you're proud of. It doesn't feel like a gym. It feels like a place that gives a damn.
I had a knee issue for years and was too nervous to go back to exercise. They worked around it from day one without making it a big deal. Now I'm training four times a week and feeling better than I have in years.
