Bananacado Mousse

Bananacado – Avocado is so creamy and yummy, and loaded with wonderful antioxidants, good fats and vitamins C and E. Add in some coconut cream and boom – you have a delicious mousse, fit for any little person.

Bananas are a great first fruit to add to a baby’s diet. They are high in potassium and magnesium and are easy to digest.

INGREDIENTS
  • 60 mls coconut cream
  • 1 bananas as ripe a possible
  • 1 avocado ripe
METHOD
  • Place the BPA-free can of coconut cream in the fridge overnight to allow the water and cream content to separate. Scoop out the coconut cream and put the water aside (it’s great in smoothies).
  • Place the coconut cream, banana and avocado into a blender and whizz away
  • This keeps well for 2–3 days in the fridge in a sealed container.Notes
  • Bananacado mousse can also be mixed with breast milk instead of coconut milk as a way of transitioning your baby to first foods.
